The dial is silver white and clean, golden "KS" Chronometer labelled medallion is also different from the "7000" case back type.
This medallion is a feature later removed from the newer KS timepieces.
This King Seiko with the 8010 pillow type case is a collectors watch and is rare even in Japan.
The 45 mechanism is a hacking and hand wind movement.
About the mechanism:
From the Seiko Daini factory, the 45KS line uses the Daini's 4500 caliber. It is a hand-winding "Hi-Beat" timepiece notable for the extraordinary beat rate at which they run for that era.
This is the only King Seiko model to offer a 36,000 A/h movement (the last hand-built King Seiko AND also the last with such movements from Daini).
The line was produced from the height of the classic mechanical watch period through the quartz crisis before petering out and ending production in the early 1970's, a functional, automatic, mechanical wrist art that carries a significant role in horological history
